Our Story
Every great mission begins with a story.
Leebo's SICKLE CELL Support Group was founded in loving memory of Leebo, whose life continues to inspire hope, strength, and compassion. More than his diagnosis, Leebo was a son, a friend, and a light to everyone who knew him. His courage, resilience, and unwavering spirit left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of those around him.
Like so many Warriors living with SICKLE CELL Disease, Leebo faced challenges that were often unseen. His journey opened our eyes to the realities of living with a disease where pain is not always visible, yet its impact is life-changing.
His legacy became our purpose.
What began as one family's desire to honor Leebo has grown into a community dedicated to Advocacy, Education, Awareness, and Support. Every event we host, every family we serve, and every Warrior we encourage is a reflection of the love that inspired this organization.
Today, Leebo's SICKLE CELL Support Group stands beside Warriors and their families, ensuring they are never alone. We advocate for compassionate healthcare, provide educational resources, build meaningful community connections, and work tirelessly to create a future where every Warrior is seen, heard, believed, and respected.
Because Pain Is Not Always Visible.
But love is. Hope is. Community is.
And together, we are making a difference, one Warrior, one family, and one life at a time.
